Introducing the First Edition of...
TODAY IN POLITICS
There are too many political stories to create posts out of, so I've consolidated all of today's political news into one digest to amuse you, save you time, and ultimately disappoint you at the state of world and American politics. (But, mostly American politics.)
If you enjoy this and prefer your news delivered this way, let me know in the comments (hopefully with more than a "good post!" or "follow me!")
Hillary Could Challenge Election Results
During an interview with NPR, Hillary said that "if Russian interference turned out to be deeper than previously thought" she wouldn’t rule out challenging its legitimacy or the outcome.
> “No, I wouldn't rule it out,” she said. Still, even the defeated Democratic nominee admitted that she does not "believe" there is a means to officially challenge the election’s outcome. "I don't know if there's any legal, constitutional way to do that," Clinton said.
This continues the trend of Hillary blaming everyone but herself for her election loss.
Go listen to the full interview at NPR, if you dare or you care.
Obama Delivers Speeches To Wall Street for $400k
Obama, who once criticized the Clintons and others for accepting Wall Street money for paid speeches, has now jumped the shark and is entering the paid speech circuit himself. Bloomberg reports:
> Last week, he reminisced about the White House for Carlyle Group LP, one of the world’s biggest private equity firms, according to two sources in the audience. Next week, he’ll give a keynote speech at investment bank Cantor Fitzgerald LP’s health-care conference.

Trump Wants Military Parade Down Penn Ave.
After the request was shot down for his inauguration (because the U.S. doesn't usually feel the need to flex it's military muscle as it's really more of a totalitarian and rogue regime sort of thing) Trump has hinted that he may try again for a military parade down Penn Ave. for the next 4th of July.
This is happening after witnessing Bastille Day in France:
> "And, to a large extent because of what I witnessed, we may do something like that on July 4th in Washington down Pennsylvania Avenue." "But I came back [from France] and one of my early calls was I think we're going to have to start looking at that ourselves. So, we're actually thinking about 4th of July, Pennsylvania Avenue, having a really great parade to show our military strength." "You know, we're spending this year $700 billion more than we've ever spent on the military, which is a good thing for you because we're friends."
This happened during a press conference and was reported by CBS news via a tweet (sigh). Go read the tweet here, if you Twitter, or whatever.
Trump loves the military! Trump's philosophy of business is a replication of the American empire's desire to take over everything.
Macron is the Antichrist and Obama is the Satan
