RE: Big Pharma's 'Death Blow' to America's Working Class? The Opioid Crisis, the Deep State, and the Mysterious Death of Gary Webb

in #politics7 years ago (edited)

is this some new form of opium war?

Gary Webb was one of many who have paid dearly for writing about this topic. Michael Ruppert comes to mind. Danny Casolaro would describe it as another tentacle of the octopus.

my hometown has a book written about it called "Hillbilly Elegy." read a paragraph and you'll see it's not great literature. so why is it being promoted? who's pushing this stuff?

Hollywood has been calling us hillbillies for a long time.

did you know Goober and Gomer were cousins and that Opie is coming to town to make a movie about us?

Jim Varney played Earnest P. Worrell instead of Shakespeare to make a living.

defeating us means twisting our self image into backward incompetent shells of self loathing instead of what we truly are: some of the most inventive, industrious people on the planet. that's what makes us a threat.

the British waged war on China with opium with a similar effectiveness. they eventually walked in, destroyed the Chinese royal palace and stole their silver back.

the enemy could not have designed a better system for destroying us. convincing us that a state education could teach us how the world works and prepare us for independent lives.

instead, our schools are incredibly efficient at extruding one generation after another of incurious dolts and dependent dregs.

if our enemy owns our media, controls our money, corrupts our government and distorts our institutions, how will we know we're at war?

Excellent points, sounds like part of a great demoralization effort to bring us down from the inside. Thank you, I may reference this comment in a later piece if that's okay.

by all means, be my guest. my comments are yours now.
