Nice going, Steemians! We just passed Eth on the BTCC poll! (Also a small warning about @beanz on twitter)

In case you haven't set your vote yet, you can do so here:

I noticed this chat message from user @beanz on twitter:

Guess it goes without saying not to click on random/shady links, I'm guessing her twitter might have gotten hacked. Until she responds about the situation make sure to be careful and not click it.

What, this is huge. I'm honestly surprised we could beat ETH. But let's not relax, keep voting!

Thanks @acidyo. I actually received the link from another steemit user on twitter :(

Have now changed my password and revoked access from the third party application.

Hoping that's all I need to do

Hoping that's all I need to do

Warning users about which Steemian sent you the link would be appreciated...

LOL .... I dont get it :P

Stop all the downloadin!

Ah okay, well it wouldn't hurt to name that Steemian who is sending these links to people.

Nobody is sending them intentionally. Once hacked they seem to tweet and automatically send that message. I can't even find the steemit user who sent it to me because I'm getting new messages every minute now.

Yeah @acidyo, I just try (two hours ago) to ask help at other communities for vote this pooling and I got kick out from that group. Fortunately, one of their member know about steemit, gladly I can join that group again and re-introduce steemit. :)

Hey, I'm having some trouble understanding the rewards section: by default I left my posts at "Power up 100% "and "Upvote the post" and I was getting a lot of feedback/ engagement and $ on each post. I switched it to Default 50/50 and unchecked the upvote box and now have gotten very little engagement and just cents on the dollar. I guess I'm confused as to why that's the case and if I can take the $ out right away/I have to hold it if I click the power up/upvote. Any clarification would be great! I've been reading articles but I'm still confused. Thank yoU!

Hey! The post reward options are unrelated to the engagement, I would recommend leaving it at 50/50 though since steemdollars are selling at a big premium right now.
It might just be that readers/curators have missed your posts, I checked out your post history and noticed that on the posts you haven't received much engagements were the ones I hadn't read/curated. It could also mean that only curators with less influence have happened to read them and voted them up.
This has a lot of different factors, many curators don't read posts and just rely on reputation to decide which authors they trust with their upvotes. If you have used Reddit then you may have experienced that posts can get some engagement in the beginning but if someone were to downvoted it or in this case not upvote it early in time then it won't make it to the "hot" section and many readers just don't happen to see it. That's why engaging with the community and other members is important and building your following and followers and over time the rewards start to balance out.

Cool, I understand a bit better now. Thank you again for taking the time to help me out!

Not a fan of Twitter "Hacksville":( I am curious about Zappl??
