I think it's hard to tell...I didn't use the poloniex but my friend did. He transferred the steem to poloniex and like your case, disabled, for a week till now. I wonder if he can get those back as no response from poloniex till now...

Once deposits are renabled it should appear in your balance. if not contact poloniex support
They can not return the money like a bank do when a transfer fail ?
