Let's face it:
Crypto can get complicated.
In the vast sea of coins and exchanges, at the end of the day you just want to know what you've got, right?
So you need a way to track your portfolio - something that's mobile friendly, easy to look at, and tells you what you need to know.
Enter Coinfolix
I've been investing in cryptocurrency for just a couple of months, and in that time have tried dozens of apps and websites to keep track of my portfolio.
When I'm on the computer, I use cryptocompare.com - It's free, and it's really easy to track your trades (as well as realized gains and losses for tax purposes), and overall is a great option to manage your portfolio.
On the computer, at least.
The mobile site is okay - it's a condensed version of the web version, and it's not difficult to look at or anything. It's just a bit much. For most of the day, I'm nowhere near a computer that I could make any trades on. Even in my spare time, I'm doing less trading and more researching/buying. And holding. So I don't need a lot of charts or price trends from the last hour - I just want a quick, clean view of my holdings.
And Coinfolix is the best option out there. It's clean, lightweight, and intuitive to use. You can enable passcode protection, if you want. Most of all, it's simple - you get two screens:
One for your holdings/portfolio, and one for a quick overview of the market - the best and worst performing coins and the performance of the top market cap coins. No charts needed. Just the % increase or decrease over the last 24 hours.
Because lets face it. You're probably not doing day trading on your phone, and if you're leaning towards the mindset of buying regularly and mostly holding, everything else is just going to get in the way.
After trying out dozens of apps and websites, Coinfolix has been the easiest and most enjoyable to use. It has all the information I need (price, value, 24hr performance, market cap, supply) on the go in a clean, nice to look at layout. It has great coin support, is fast loading, and doesn't take up a lot of space. I think it's the best simple portfolio tracker out there.
