On June 8, World Ocean Day, the Paris Tropical Aquarium was opened free of charge over the past weekend. Thanks to this, I realized that World Ocean Day existed, and I was able to experience the atmosphere of the 12 districts of Paris with the aquarium at a glance and visit the aquarium for free.
The aquarium, located in the basement of the National Museum of Immigration History, houses 15,000 marine animals of 700 species.
Normally, there is an entrance fee of 5 euros for children 4 years and older and adults alike. Tropical aquariums are quite inexpensive, as the aquarium in Trocadero is 20.5 euros for adults and 13 euros for children under 12 years of age.
Even at 9:00 p.m., the day is really long, as bright as midday. So, on the morning of the weekend, you can rest and relax, and then you can go out only in the late afternoon. Arriving at the immigration museum around 4pm, a huge line was waiting for us. We sighed as we saw the lines lined up so that we couldn't see the end, and then we were comforted by seeing a long line blowing behind us. Everybody standing in line behind us looked at the long line and waved the whale as if we were tired. Most of them were families with baby strollers and children, but it was the day when the Parisians confirmed that they liked the free stuff as much as ours.
Only after an hour and a half of boring waiting was it possible to enter. I was able to appease the boredom by looking at the sculptures on the exterior of the building. The children endured a long, boring time by looking for ants or moving around.
The aquarium was bigger than I thought.
Two crocodiles lived in the middle of the discovery channel.
The whole white crocodile was amazing because it was the first time I saw it.
The aquarium was filled with crocodiles, and it was divided into various themes, such as regions and types.
The first child portrayed the appearance of fish, crocodiles, and turtles in a notebook that he had taken to draw a fish. The second child waved to the fish one by one, made eye contact with live marine animals, and continually tried to talk. There was also a special fish that followed the child's movements and made eye contact with the child.
Underwater is a mysterious world that stimulates human curiosity as much as outer space. So when I was a child, I imagined another world in the sea and drew many nonsense pictures. Faced with various and strange and beautiful creatures living in the aquarium, I thought how mysterious and mysterious this world is, where I live and breathe.
But at the same time, looking at such an extraordinary creature looking into a child's eyes, I thought how frustrating this place was. When I visit zoos and aquariums, it is a guilt that always permeates one side.
Animal rights are easily lost in the selfish privilege of human beings, who can comfortably visit other creatures. Animals that have been educated for centuries and thousands of years and moved to the roots of their surviving grounds, exhibited and tamed for humans in a small artificial space.
In other words, it is a strict violence.
Who has given human rights to trample and take away the freedom of other life forms, and is it right?
Fortunately, there was no human-centered animal cruelty program here to sympathize with animals such as 'Dolphin Show'. Although it is debatable whether the existence of an aquarium or zoo is valid, at least human beings must constantly study what the environment under which animals are less stressed to design and set up a zoo or aquarium with environmental conditions as close to their habitat as possible. Will have to do. In addition, various shows and programs that cause suffering by using wild animals for the purpose of making money should be eradicated.
If we humans have a conscience.
There was an exhibition about how the tap water was made, purified, and delivered to us, showing each step through the tunnel. This tunnel has become a great amusement facility for children, and several children have crawled through the tunnel and all played with sweat.
After filling these two hours and looking around the aquarium, I went up to the first floor, and various ateliers and lectures on sea creatures and environmental pollution were in progress. The tail fin part of the fish buried in a pile of plastic trash was displayed in the center, and I was able to have a lot of conversation with the children.
Even when it was close to closing, we left the museum looking at the people standing in line. When I saw it, I was doing acting art, so I paused and watched it. When they found each other from a distance, they moved very slowly to see the scene of meeting and kissing, but the children were happy because they were watching a cartoon movie in slow motion.
After visiting the tropical aquarium in Paris, it was great to be able to talk about animals and animals with children.
Whether the image of plastic trash and dead fish was intense, the children seemed to be imprinted with how much plastic trash killed the seas and land and the many animals that live there and how serious this was.
Everything you experience with your children becomes a story.
Even when I want to stay at home, I somehow take my kids out.
So, on the weekends, there is no stamina.
Although I decided to not be a nasty parent, I am starting to start the day with a vivid color from the weekend morning, asking children where they are going to go.
The vacation is approaching in the summer of the second month ...
To be honest, it's a little scary to see children planning where to go.
