RE: Why Positivity Isn’t the Be-All and End-All of Happiness

in #positive7 years ago (edited)

Agreed, there are times when it's not positivity, it's nonsense. But not that often. Positivity may not be the be all and end all of happiness, but it certainly qualifies as the well-dug, weed-cleared soil that will become a garden.

Added to which, a positive, pollyanna outlook will help you endure adversity and recover from it much faster. There's tons of evidence to support the theory that your thinking and your posture are two halves of the same coin, and affect the chemical balance in your body.

I would like to read your thoughts on how a negative outlook is equally unrealistic. In fact, that could be your next article! (Gentle hint there! :-D )

Agreed having a positive mind set is a great mood changer and signifies a strength with in in regards to what is happening around you.

Equal as much negativity is also unrealistic, in reality it is a balance of both but pretending to be positive defeats the purpose of ones way to combat reality, You can be positive that it actually looks like you are just lying to your self.

Thank you, for the motivation on my next post.
