Every chicken farmers problem where they put the feed and water of the chicken. Also me, my problem every time my chicken starting hatching new chicks, ask myself "What feeder and watering I use in the new chicks?". To get idea about creating watering and chicken feeder, I open my computer and start searching Youtube some of the tutorials and easy to create and no need to waste money. And then, I create my own version of watering and chicken feeder using plastic bottles.
I would like to share my version of watering and chicken feeder. You can see in the pictures how the plastic bottle reuse as a watering and chicken feeder.
Materials:
- 2 Plastic Bottles (Different size)
- Wire
- Cutter (Be careful)
Step-By-Step:
Watering And Chicken Feeder
(Chicken Watering)
1.) First step, I create the holder of the water or chicken feeds.
2.) Cut the big plastic bottle, same size of the small plastic bottle.
(Try to insert the small bottle if it's fit in the big bottle we cut.)
(I cut the other side of the big bottle to avoid chicken stampede.... hahahaha :D running for water/feeds.)
3.) Cut the wings of the big bottle and trim the bottle and fit the small bottle.
4.) Remove the cap of the small bottle and clean the mouth of the bottle.
5.) I create a looks like teeth. Like in the pictures.
6.) Fit the small bottle in the big bottle.
7.) Remove the cap of the big bottle. To create an hanging holder.
(Make sure you create an holder can rotate the bottle if the chicken touch the feeder/watering to avoid stuck.)
8.) Done,,,,, Let's put water and hang in the cage!!!!!
(On creating a chicken feeder, you need to adjust the small bottle to the top of the big bottle to create space in the feeding area.)
