Bill Gates is doing that to make up for nearly destroying the world. He started the closed source regime which we now live in. He is the reason why technology is being used as a weapon to keep people weak and uninformed. The original idea was open source philosophy, share with each other, help each other, make the world a better place, but Bill Gates changed all that and drove the open source movement into obscurity, until now. He chose greed over humanity and sold us all out. To be fair, he has changed somewhat, but he's going to have to do a whole lot better than buy a mosquito net before he gets any forgiveness. Sure, he's doing a lot, Cancer research and so on, but not nearly as much as he could with all the resources he has. At least he's not Steve Jobs, but just being slightly better than another monster dosen't make him a saint. If we're going to fix poverty, we can't allow this kind of thing to happen, if not for Bill Gates and the other super rich we could have fixed these problems long ago. We have more than enough resources to feed everyone, to get medication to everyone, and certainly to make sure everyone who needs it gets a mosquito net. But some people decided they want to exploit everyone and horde all the resources we have for themselves. I only hope this post was meant as some ironic bad taste joke.
