Brookings Institute says doing these 3 things will keep you out of poverty:
- Finish High School
- Do not have babies before you are married
- Hold down a job
With the unemployment rate at record lows, employers today are giving more and more people a chance to prove themselves.
This is your chance to get your foot in the front door. After that, work hard and the sky is the limit.
You will probably do a lot better then just escape the poverty trap, you are more likely to firmly entrench yourself in the middle class. You may even become a mailroom clerk to CEO success story.
