i think that once someone gets into a relationship that these notions change. I'm not opposed to having a lot of things, but I do think that a lot of us tend to go a bit overboard with it. At one point i had something like 50 t-shirts that I never wore and you gotta ask yourself "what is the point of this?" after a while.

I'm quite happy having my life be so portable but then again, most people aren't as transient as I am.

Sort:  

50 T-shirts is 40 too many. I have like 10 and I end up using only about 5 that I like. The other 5 I keep for "emergencies" that never come.

I plan to downsize yet again to probably more than 10, but I hope to never return to a closet filled with stuff i never wear. :)
