A couple of days ago, I was lucky enough to visit a wine farm here in the Cape called Babylonstoren and I have to say that I was completely blown away by the beauty surrounding me.
However, I shall do a separate post on my visit there - this post is about the balance that they have achieved with everything that is grown there.
Everything is grown organically and they only serve vegetables and fruit that are in season in the restaurants.
This is the way we should be eating in order to stay healthy.
Everything that is grown is thriving and producing massive harvests - I have never seen such bounty!
As we walked around, we became conscious of being surrounded by pollinators and other beneficial insects, so I thought that I would share a few photos of these.
Hope you enjoy them.
That's a pretty cool variety of plants! Did I guess right: rugosa rose, lotus, water lily, butterflyweed, and artichoke? Excellent photos showing foliage and flower!
I love hearing about farms doing this!
Yes you guessed right! - yes I wish there were more farms like this - the world needs them.
