Thanks a lot for your support in this, @allyinspirit! Just found this post following your link. Reading about all the "standards" and "hard work" sounds a bit scary at first.
Checked the application to see if there was any more info on the herculean tasks awaiting the members. Ok... doesn't seem so hard after all ;-) Actually far less than I thought. Except for it being a daily routine maybe... when I paint I tend to forget things around me. Even missed a TV interview once 😬
Like most things, it can be slow at first but once you can navigate around the PHC discord room it becomes easier and less demanding on your time. Most of the time I like to look at the work of people who have commented on my work and then I comment on their work too. So in some ways, I'm not doing a lot more than what I've always done. Except meeting new Steemians whose work I really like.
I'm trying to free up my time to draw and paint again. So allowing for it to be part of my daily routine helps.
I hope missing the interview didn't have too many repercussions. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
You are right, most of the activity outlined in the community guidelines are pretty much, what we do anyways. Actually, having great post lined up for already, can make it even easier in the end.
As an artist and a German I'm always a bit... how should I say.. hesitant (?) with lots of strict rules, but I guess it has been proven, they are necessary. I put in my application and am curious how it will develop. Will be on the road next week and hope I won't have to start my "career" with an absence notice ;-)
Yeah the interview thing was annoying. They were really mad and never came back... thank god there is always another opportunity somewhere else :-)
