Today, I want to guide you through a quick exercise. You can get back to being quarantined in five minutes. I want you to start simply.
Five deep breaths in & out through your nose.
Now let's begin. I want you to say out loud four things you're grateful for.
Good? Next, I want you to say the names of three people you're thankful to have in your life.
Now, imagine two things you'll have more time to do now that life has slowed down.
Finally, list one thing you can't wait to do once our normal way of life returns.
Finish with five more deep breaths in & out through your nose.
And be proud of yourself for giving yourself time to pause.
We've got so much to be grateful for. So much to look forward to. Light is at the end of the tunnel, but also right in front of us. Keep living.
"A Single Seed" is my attempt to get out one idea every day that I've learned or accumulated over the years, with the hope that it may stick in someone else's memory bank as well.
