I was coming out of my society yesterday morning.
I saw a senior citizen talking with security people in an aggressive tone.
Stopped to watch out of curiosity!
The security people were having tea in a plastic cup which they brought for themselves in a plastic polythene.
The senior citizen was asking them why they were not using the thermos for bringing the tea which has been given by the old man, 15 days back and secondly why they were not using the steel glasses which have been given by the society, to have a cup of tea.
Then he turned towards me.
Look! I told them that it is dangerous to bring tea in polythene and having it in plastic cups, I gave them thermos, society gave them steel glasses but they are exposing themselves to the risk of cancer by carrying and having tea in the dangerous plastic material.
He asked the supervisor" Do you really worry what will happen to your family once you develop cancer?"
Security supervisor assured the senior citizen that next time it will not happen.
Lessons?
Old habits die hard ….review the behaviour till it becomes a habit.
Tell people of risks involved through environmental hazards.
Be sensitive towards people around you.
All three are leadership behaviours.
I am the fan of that senior citizen.
Run your destiny.

Theres a question rising in the above scenario why gov is not taking necessary steps to ban the sale and production of plastic cups.

Does that mean govt has a silence supportive move for the ongoing usage of plastic utensils.

Society must resolve a memorandum against health hazards prevailing against the citizens of that country.

Really Good Post!
