There is plenty of good advice out there on ways to store water for an emergency, especially in an upcoming situation such as a hurricane, but here's an easy way to collect water in any kind of survival situation...
Simply take a clean white cotton undershirt (or handkerchief or other cloth if that's all you have at the moment) and wipe it across the dew on a lawn or grassy surface in the early morning before the sun has burned off the dew. You then squeeze the wet cloth over a bucket and repeat. You can soon get a decent amount of water this way for drinking or washing.
Of course, if your lawn has been sprayed with pesticides, you wouldn't want to use this water for drinking. The same goes if it's a lawn where dogs or cats have been pooping, or a lawn close enough to a street where car exhaust would be a factor. You should be able to find a safe patch of grass to gather drinking water from in a real emergency. Hopefully you'll never have to do this but it's good to know!!
What advice do you have for finding Beer ?
Now that was funny lol
I'm in disguise Joy . Remember that pm I sent you a couple of days ago ? Moms the word ,,,,lol ,,, same with hog ,,,, double lol
Good tip. There's a lot of water in the dew. We get about 2 litres a day in Summer from our roof just from morning condensation. At the moment that amount is pretty negligible but it may be crucial one day
