RE: Sour Grapes? -- or "There Ain't No Jobs In The Country"..

The sticks are not for everybody, in fact not for the vast majority of folks. It is a state of mind. You can't even imagine how quite it is, it would make most people go batty! I love it, my wife loves it, people that come to visit us from the city hate it! They can't handle that there is no distractions, it takes talent to be comfortable with the thoughts in you own head. If you think this is for you find a place to camp for a week at at time, then two weeks and so on. There is lots to learn and up front the locals are not going to help you, respect is earned in the sticks and they don't let people in easy, it takes time.
Do you know how to do the basics? have you watched @guide.prepper on his Youtube channel? you will need skills, skills you don't have if you have grown up in the city, not saying city folks are bad, its just different skill sets out here. Best of luck to anyone who is going to try it!

Firstly, I don't have any content on my YouTube channel. Not yet. I'm still muling over wether or not to provide original content. Guide Prepper won't put out anything with his name on it unless he's mostly satisfied with the finished product. It has to be at least something I think would be highly illuminative. And that means doing some serious work on my part, and I'm not yet ready to make that type of commitment. I was contemplating producing some man-to-man talk videos whereupon I just need to produce my own monologue... I might test run a few by the end of the month.

Thanks for your meaningful comment. You made some great points...
