Solar Storm Continues, La Niña Forecast | S0 News Oct.13.2017 ~
Elevated solar winds are abating while the next coronal hole appears on the incoming limb in the Sun's Southern hemisphere. Some solar flaring is also noted, but to date remains contained. A record number of hurricanes has formed in the Atlantic this year with the birth of Hurricane Ophelia at the onset of the current geomagnetic storm. This record has not been seen since 1893. The report on the global carbon emission spike in the last two years just released has named El Nino as the most significant cause - NOT ice melt caused by humans. A forecast for the return of La Nina next year is also predicted.
