It seems that the US Federal agencies are already taping into your car for 15 years. At least that is what documents prove that Forbes have obtained.
You have to think of tracking but also listing into the conversations you have in the car. It means you really do not have much right on privacy left. In an urgent case I can understand they want to follow a car (kidnapping for example). But besides that it is way to easy to pass your right for privacy in my opinion.
