- Turn off Send Read Receipts

The way to disable it is actually easy. You can go to Settings option, then select Message. Here, slide down a bit to find the Send Read Receipts option. Make sure the slider on the right is not lit, or OFF. 
If you do the above, this will apply in general. Alias applies to all incoming messages. But if you intend not to send read notifications to just one contact, you can do so via messaging features. Press the "i" button on the top right of your conversation page with the contact then turn off Send Read Receipts from there. But, this only applies to iMessage just loh ya, not regular sms.
- Turn off Notification Preview
Whether in a locked screen or not, it's a good idea to turn off the notification preview. This will reduce the chances of messages for you to be read by those who are not eligible.
Preview notifications are created so you can read messages when you get to the phone without having to open the messaging application. Sort out which needs to be answered first, or which ones should be deleted before you read. Or even you can reply directly through this bubble notification. Delicious right?
But unfortunately, if your phone is in the hands of others, all messages will be read clearly. Without getting in the way. Even can be answered through the bubble notification. Hiyyy ..
You can disable it by setting options> Notifications> then in the Show previews section, you can choose to always show the preview (Always), just show the preview when the screen is unlocked or never show the preview at all. Select Never to not display a preview when the phone holder can enter the system, or select when unlocked when the borrower of the phone only uses it to take pictures only. 
The good thing, the way I recommend above will apply not only to messages only. But relatively all the notifications that go into the phone.
3.Send and Receive Messages from iPhone Only
IPhone users who also have other Apple devices, such as iPad and Mac computers are given the convenience of the Text Message Forwarding feature. This feature will make a practical effort to read and send messages, directly on Mac or iPad devices, without the hassle of finding a phone, or opening the iPhone just for that.
But unfortunately, this could potentially spread your message to a number of different devices that one might not be monitoring you. As a result, others can read it.
Just turn off this feature via Settings> Messages> Text Message Forwarding. And slide the switch that is to the right of the secondary device name to OFF. 
4.Delete Message Automatically
iPhone has a feature to delete the contents of messages automatically within a certain time period. So old messages do not need to be stored all on the phone, and you do not have to tired choose and delete it manually.
How to do this is to go to Settings> Messages> and select Keep Message. There is a choice of 30 days, 1 year and forever alias is stored forever. You can choose 30 or 1 year to reduce the possibility of reading messages in it by others. 
5.Activate Filter for Unsaved Number in Contacts
Maybe you are disturbed by sms-sms from an unknown number that offers a product or just a sms idle. You can classify these numbers automatically, without the need to install additional applications.
Simply go to Settings> Messages, then enable Filter Unknown Senders. Messages from these numbers will automatically go to the unknown sender folder in the messages feature. And we will not get notifications from them.
