Just to answer your curiosity. UBports is a group of passionate and principled people, Mainly programmers. We maintain the code of Ubuntu Touch. Ubuntu Touch is a free open source and privacy friendly mobile OS. Currently we are looking for programmers to help us porting for mainstream phones. Besides porting we also refine and add features. Our goal is to bring a worthy alternative to the current duopoly in the smartphone market.
