3 Products We Love

in #product7 years ago (edited)

Have you every said "I Love You" to a software? Or an inanimate product? Here are some of the products which have earned my heartfelt devotion.

1. Quora

An online question and answer site where questions are asked, answered, edited and organized by its community of users. Founded in 2009 and accessible by public in 2010, the online question and answer forum has over 200 million monthly visitors!
So how does it work? Say, you want to know about blockchain. Or you're trying to make spaghetti and not sure about the sauce. Quora to the rescue! More than half the times, you will find a similar doubt posted on the forum with answers provided by experts in the field. If not, you can post your own question and someone will answer it within minutes!

What makes it special?

It makes learning fun. From concepts of object oriented programming to blackjack, I have learnt it all via Quora! Since users are authentic, it eliminates the risk of ambiguity and hoax. Quora believes in mission first, drive, agility, awareness and pragmatism.

2. Myntra

An Indian fashion e-commerce marketplace company, headquartered in Bangalore, India, has a user base of 17 million (by June 2017). Merged with Flipkart.com in May 2014, it solely competes with global giants like Amazon and other offline retailers like Future Group and Aditya Birla Group.

It's vision is to become India's largest lifestyle products retailer. It reflects youthfulness, vibrancy and freshness while incorporating fashion. Pocketing 42% direct traffic, an average user spends 9 minutes on the site.

Among their several initiatives, their women's day initiative really caught my attention. Through a simple series of user history data analysis, Myntra integrated a "Specially for you" section, describing your personal style statement, recommendations and celebrities with similar fashion sense. Way to make a user feel special!

3. Fidget Spinner

A fidget spinner is a toy that consists of a ball bearing in the center of a multi-lobed flat structure made from metal or plastic designed to spin along its axis with little effort.

It was initially marketed as an antidote for attention deficiency disorder, anxiety and autism but soon became the must have toy among millennials! It occupies the part of the brain which would otherwise fidget and interfere in decision making. Physical movements assist cognitive activities. Fidgeting can help you think and express yourself!

What makes it special?

Everyone fidgets! With its ability to compete with others, low price and amazing design, pocket sized, easy to carry and fun to play with, there is no losing here! Get fidgeting!
