Feeling like a "shlep" and falling behind on responsibility can add up to unnecessary stress. Don't worry you're not alone and we've all felt like we have lost our motivation some time or the other. Here's a few great tips on getting back on track and smashing those goals of yours!
A good night's sleep and an early rise.
Is it even a question? Quality rest does wonders for your mind and body. Waking up a bit earlier (4 am) can have a massive impact on ones productivity. More time to prep = Higher productivity.Setting goals
Setting goals and constantly reminding yourself can be the difference between success and failure in real life. Once you begin to track your goals and progress you begin to feel the momentum and that you're actually getting somewhere, don't deny yourself that feeling. You'll have to be disciplined to achieve and who wouldn't mind being a little bit more responsible.
Give yourself some alone time to actually think.
You will be impressed with what a difference you can make in your life if you just take 5 mins to sit and take a breath. No distractions, cell phones or people. Give your mind a chance to let your thoughts run free. There is no wrong way to do this.Avoid what kills your productivity.
Let's face it, we have all come across that 1 person who is extremely negative and drains the life out of us. My best advise would be to just keep away. There is nothing wrong with explaining that you are a bit busy at the moment and cannot chat. Seriously, stay away from "neg heads". Your vibe attracts your tribe. Try cutting down on the screen time as well, there is a lot more to this world than your social media alerts.
5 Meditation.
Whoosa. I mean seriously, how can this not be a part of being productive. Keeping your mind in check and letting go off downer thoughts will only do you good. To lead others you must be able to lead yourself. Everyone at Google meditates which raises the question, why aren't you?
