Village canal bills are haor-basar or old method of fishing in the river and one of the materials is the bamboo chana. Hundreds of people from different villages of Kushtia district are living with this fodder and fish with fish. From the beginning of the monsoon, the canal-bills and river-nalas of the region started with fencing. In a special way, bamboo can be framed in a canal, 14-15 feet in a hole in the canal, and one chai. Chana is used in the water, primarily for hunting pots and shrimp. But all the small fish, including pants, sandy, tengas, were caught. At the village of Moragacha of Khoksa upazila of the district, it has been found that the children of 10 years old from this village, and all the budding people are making chaiya. Somebody is cutting bamboo, someone is trying to shake it, someone lays it, and some are engaged in bamboo chana and binding. In the verandah, in the courtyard, in the shade of trees, sitting in the place where the chana is made. At least 100 children of about 25 families of this village are involved in the projecting of chai mining involving women and men. For nearly 20 years, chana making work in this village has started extensively since 3-4 years. Chana seedling work started in different villages of Khokaa and Kumarkhali upazila of the district for a month. As far as Ashwin About two lakhs of chai were made in one season. In the two upazilas, the workers earn Tk 1 crore each by producing chaai. Instead of bamboo sticks, chana is being made using only bamboo sheets made of frames. But the snare trap is often broken by trunk or crushing the fish.
