how do you download a profile pic? I read to use tinypic.com? but did not work, any advice would be greatly appreciated, help a newbie out :)

You can actually do it from a profile pic (or any photo) from facebook or twitter, if you have. Just right click 'copy image location', copy the address and paste it into the profile pic url on steemit.
