The Company
OurData.us is a benefit company that seeks to form a large union of data consumers (thus, consumer data union). It aims to reach as many people as possible to join in combating against the unfair use of our personal data by advertising companies.
When the time comes that these advertising companies get under the consumer data union, a deal will be made with them along with publishers/creators, and OurData.us will be giving away 90% of its #profit to its members.
The Ad Blocker
The OurData.us benefit company will do this by letting you download their Ad Blocker app (already available in Chrome, iOS, and Android) which will filter away the advertising companies that will NOT make a deal with the union. This will force interested ad companies to make a deal when the union is already large enough. The Ad Blocker app as the company says is one of its kind. Other Ad Blockers get the profit by themselves (Yup, even I knew that just now).

The possibility of it winning over ad companies may be uncertain, but nonetheless, we will have nothing to lose. At least we get a free ad blocker. Remember to share this to your friends as well.

Interesting, I wonder how the buying and selling of the shares will work
Hi! I think that there won't have a buying or selling of shares. I think the "share" that they're referring to is different than the shares in stock markets. But there's a way to gain these "shares" and that is by inviting more people to join the consumer data union.
What I have observed is that the greater the amount of shares you have, the higher is your "estimated value" (in dollars). Also, they're giving away extra shares to people who joined the union earlier. As long as the current number of members is below 10,000, new members will automatically be given 10,000 shares. The value of my shares right now (I have not successfully referred someone else yet, hence 10,000) is 100 dollars.
