Why you should be a programmer?
- You'll be a problem solver: There are a lot of Qs without an A. A lot of things we do today can still be improved, programming gives you the ability to solve problems. Every problem, difficulty or bad experience is an opportunity to come up with a groundbreaking idea to improve it. Apart from the joy you could derive from solving problems, you could also be a billionaire when you do so. Programmers are smart people who solve difficult problems in smart ways.
Job Security: Problem equips you with a skill that liberates you and crosses you out the list of the unskilled. From your first day at work as a programmer, you get more experience. Your pay and value appreciate day in day out and you become one of the indispensable ones in the industry. The chances of being fired or unemployed in very low.
High demand for the skill: Programmers are needed in every sector. With an average salary of $75,000 per year, you are sure to enjoy a reasonable standard of living being a developer. Another good thing is you don't need years of experience to get a job as a programmer.
Flexibility: Simply put, you can work wherever you want, whenever you want. You can decide to be your own boss and if you choose to work, you work under favourable conditions (i.e working environment, salary, perks e.t.c). The physical risk of being a developer is very low compared to other professions, your working environment is always cool and serene.
