I am actually wanna share my experience as a hobbiest in the world of computer programming languages.

It is really an adventure for me since I was in college that got me in contact with computers.
Those were the good old days of MS Dos. That time, I started to create pixels formed into images comparable to painting but using pixels. I had fun doing that. Then, Windows 3.1 came, it was a lot more easier to do bitmap in Paintbrush. That time I can see that things started to depend on computers. Architecture as my course caught my attention by AutoCAD a cad software running in Dos. It creates line drawings that comparable to architects technical hand drawings. Well, at that time, 3D in autocad is not much attractive, even in 3D Studio now Autodesk 3DS Max, though I envied my classmates doing presentations in 3d using those softwares.
After that, PC is not stopping in its technological innovations, for me it was Microsoft who brought that change and revolutionized the way we work.
A lot of advanced software released in the market in the visualization field.
Vray rendering software was one of it. But Mental Ray caught my attention that leads me into the programming world. By using C++, you can extend the material shader and functionality of Mental ray, a render engine plugin for 3DS max, Softimage and Maya. These softwares were used in the movie effects industry and not only for visualization.
3D Games started to get better as well, and games were done and made using C++ with OpenGL and DirectX. But then, I just got the taste of developing and testing windows programming and even testing small opengl and directx samples since I started to work as architect- designer.
The web technology did not caught my attention since the time of Microsoft and Netscape navigator battle. It was 2D, and even static. It only capture my attention when Macromedia Flash were used in flashy website. That moment, I started to learn Actionscript since I though that Flash will be the future of Web.
After sometime, I focused myself in my career as a architectural and interior designer but it always happen to me that I always wanted to program. In my heart, it really annoys me and my mind is itching to do some small programing test amd small debugging and even challenging my self to solve software bugs and scripts malfunctioning and errors. I always wanted to create something that is liberating and that is interactive whether its a program or apps or software as you can call it, even a virtual reality apps perhaps.
Well as they say, its difficult to start again in a different field when you had built your career in the field that you also love to do.
Untill now I am still in the jouney of finding myself to get into the world of software development. After sometime, Javascript has influenced my thinking to start learning the path towards web technologies as I can invision that Javascript will be the convergence of programing language, they say will be the next universal language.
Iwant to be part of it, just need to get into it. I am still hoping that one day I will finish my idea on an apps for the user.
