A project is a temporary endeavor undertaken to
create a unique product, service, or results [Project Management Institute]
WOW , but what does it mean?
It is a temporary endeavor >> It means that it isn't endless; (start date and an end date is needed because, the activities that go on indefinitely are typically known as processes or operations).
Unique means that it is unlike any other project >> It may be similar to other projects but it is never identical to any other.
Deliverable means that it has an outcome >> hardware/software product, a new actvity, a new building, etc.
