What a day it was today, working on printing out more steem tshirts. A pretty expensive task and so time consuming.. but well thats what it takes to unite Africa with steemit. The distance to the city where the workshop for printing out the tshirts is, is one hectic journey. A 20km distance that gets you to travel for 3hours, as a result of the traffic jam.
Spending on the design of the screen using a screen printing machine, buying screen printing fabric, paying the artist for the labour, a whole lot of this to get a few clothes out.. Why not celebrate for the day finally coming to an end looking like this;
After printing out the first pair of tshirts
I can now start a journey of influencing more Africans to join steemit using the various platforms available to reach them. Something that was a little hard before I had some tshirts in hand. Many graduates are still having the ego of possessing degree transcripts, believing they have got to work in the specific fields they spent a whole lot of cash getting trained in; and this is widening the poverty gap. But with steemit available for them, this is about to change.
I believe changing their mindset is a target that will get the continent to move a step forward with people's lives being transformed. This we shall do through uniting with steemit.
A team dressed on steem tshirts will be a statement that will push people to know more about steemit. And thus kick more people out of poverty.
Let's join hands to reach everyone here in Africa and get them into the steemit platform to transform their lives.
