RE: My Crypto Portfolio: And why Steem has earned a 15% piece of the pie.

I understand - we all need to choose and there are so many ideas and choices.
However, if you look at the price charts, you will find many of them, virtual assets AKA cryptocurrencies, that follow the same trends as BTC to a large extent.
I think that ETH and LTC don't. Both of them seem to be on totally different cycles and both seem to be dormant or lay low for a while and until you / I got rid of them.
I first bought LTC when it was at under $70 and I thought that was expensive - because a year ago it was only under $4. Same for ETH, I boght some at over $760 and thought the same - it was $7 approx. a year ago. It stayed low for a while and then I got rid of them - long story.
And then, they both jumped - out of sync with BTC. That was the shake out of the weak hands and the impatient - I was one.
Since then, I learned and developed my 7 rules:

I am now HODL-ing and will apply my rules #3, #4, and #5 while prices fluctuate.

My rule #1 would suggest that you HODL with some long shots - and reap 100X or more while you HODL them and forget them. I have a few like that - ones that no one wants at the moment, it seems - Rule #3.

All the best!
