Community Development Service(CDS) is part of the structured programm in the NYSC scheme to further develope and broden the knowledge of service corps members as well as bringing their educational expertise to practice in the community in which they serve.
Today, the project "STEEMIT NYSC INVATION" team visited the " Kaduna State Aids Control Agency" community development service group. It's was an exciting one as we were on point dishing out useful information to corps members and vigorously promoting steemit.
On our arrival they were reluctant about us presenting because of their tight schedule and they told us to be quick and go straight to the point giving us only 4minutes to present. We were invited and we took the stage actually going straight to the business of the day.
@casweeney did the introduction, telling them about the platform and what it stands for. And I, @happoculturation talked on the benefits of steemit and how they can post and earn and claim rewards. I explained to the corps members, breaking it into understandable pieces the essence of posting original and quality content that can attract the attention of readers and even viewers, because you need see and be attracted to read.

All these were the items discussed today. The corps members were happy and full of disbelief to know there's a platform that offers such opportunity to youths in the society using their creative abilities. Questions were asked and satisfying answers were given.
At the end of our presentation we spent more than the time allotted to us without complaints, from any quarters. We thank the CDS group for the privilege and time given us and they were all glad we came. They trouped out to take pictures with us and finding out more about areas that were gray to them.

Thank you!
That's cool. Sounds like a successful trip. Do you know if any of them are planning on signing up?
