It is always said that for communication to be complete, there must be feedback.I am happy to announce to you guys that our promo efforts were or are not in vain!
It is always good to receive feedback of your work.It is encouraging to realize that your message reached to the intended people
We decided as Steemit Uganda to print out small flyers which we have been distributing to university students in this last weeks .We have promoted so far to the following campuses.
- Uganda Christian University
- Makerere University
- Kyambogo University
- Makerere University Business School
- Kampala International University
This below is how the flyers look like,we opened up both an email address and Facebook page so that these guys can contact us as seen below.
We have been giving out these flyers to hundreds of people we have been promoting to and we also have out our personal phone numbers to those who asked from us.We have been getting some phone calls and we are saying the accounts are not being approved!
I am here below going to show you some of the screenshots of the emails and Facebook mesages we have been receiving from these folks. The messages have assured me that our promo work was not in vain and it was a success.
This below was from a strange number of a person telling me if how he wants to join Steemit.
As you can see from the second image,i sent him the sign up link for Steemit.
Let me give you two screenshots of messages on our Facebook page below.
I also have another message from a person wanting to meet me so that I can explain Steemit to them!
Let me also give you two email converstions below
This one below had an issue with signing up and i have a suggestio of using chrome.
There is also this one below who was inquiring more about Steemit and we have a reply
I have sampled you with a few of the messages we have so far received from people asking about Steemit. The number is expected to increase after their accounts have been approved. We hope the accounts get approved soon as some have waited for 3 weeks now!
