Dear Steemit...
Living the word most people is a choice. Everyone has the right to choose their own way of life. I also have a choice. From small I have been accompanied by beaches, oceans, boats and fish. Nothing wrong then the choice of my life now becomes a fisherman. That's the only job I can do. I am happy. Is not the work done with a happy heart make all the work easy.
Work as a fisherman may be partially exhausting. Very tiring indeed for some people who just found out. For me who came from a fisherman's family, who had grown accustomed to it all, was certainly not a laborious job. I believe that this is God's way given to me. I'm always grateful for all that. I'm sure the fisherman also has an important role in life. If there are no fishermen, how can we all be able to enjoy the delicious fish and other seafood.
When everyone sleeps in the cold night, my wife and I have to get up. My wife was busy preparing my lunch, while I was busy preparing the gear to sail in the middle of the ocean this morning. Before leaving, I had time to see my only son who was still asleep. Kiss her forehead and pray always for her. There is a burst of passion that I get after doing that. My son is the encourager of my life.
The happiness that I get after going home to sea is not the number of seafood that I get. But ... the sense of happiness arises when from a distance I have seen my wife and my son on the edge of the beach to greet me. All the fatigue I get during the sea just evaporates. My passion for their happiness is deepened in my heart. I grew more happy when my wife and I struggled to choose fish for sale, did not hesitate my son came and helped me. Making my work load and my wife getting lighter. I'm happy to have them. Many times I thank God for giving me a wife and a child who cares deeply for me.
I know the job of being a fisherman is not a despicable job. But my wife and I also know that out there is a job better than just a fisherman. I want my son to live better than his parents now. My wife and I finally agreed to give an opportunity for our son to get a better education from us. In order that in the future the knowledge that has been obtained can be useful for others, religion, nation and state. We do not want our son to be a fisherman, just father and his mother who became fishermen.
To make it happen of course it is not easy. It costs not too little. Earnings as a fisherman who had little forced me to rack my brain to find additional work for my son's school fees. Whatever the job is for as long as halal and I can do it, I will do it. Everyday shopping is reduced so that the month there is leftover money that can be saved for the purposes of my son's school. Debt here too I was forced to do in order to pay for my son's school. Whatever a parent will do for her child. All parents want the best for their children, so I'm the one who wants the best education for my son.
I can not believe who's in front of me now. I still do not believe in everything that happened. My son with his handsome wearing his grandmother's toga is now with me. I'm so proud to see it. My tears finally fell to witness my son has now become a scholar. What I've been dreaming about for my son has finally come true. Paying has been my sacrifice all this time. My job as a fisherman was finally able to deliver my son to become a scholar. I am proud to be a fisherman.
