Yesterday the 2nd of June was an exciting day where we Steemit users in Uganda came together to discuss the growth of Steemit. A huge applause to @achimmertens for the financial support he provided. He played a big role in influencing the success of this event.
The meeting was more of a discussion where we had everyone share he's views on Steemit; how steemit has impacted on his/her life, the challenges they have met so far and most importantly how to overcome these challenges.
There was a lot on every person's mind that time couldn't let us cover everything. But am glad we are progressing on growing Steemit bigger from what we discussed. There is really much optimism in everyone about the future of Steemit in Uganda.
All in all I thank everyone that fixed time and came for the meet-up. It's encouraging seeing people turning up for a single cause, this shows solidarity which is essential in growing Steemit here in Uganda.
Congratulations on your meetings, but i noticed that the drinks are common in most part of the world, Guinness, Coca-cola and Fanta. Enjoy the power of coming together.

@musamalijames my greatful appreciation goes to you people for what you did for me yesterday in the meeting, I was able to learn a lot about steemit and indeed as I speak and well equipped and I have already some audience waiting for me today to taught to them about steemit.
We are glad you can use the knowledge to teach others. This is the purpose of such meet ups.
