RE: With over +100,000 Entrepreneurs coming onto the STEEM Blockchain in the next 5 years, here's why I am sticking with my Market Valuation for STEEM at over $500 billion.

This platform has all kinds of potential, I'll agree. But before anyone can worry about the value of the cryptocurrency it runs on, I hope we can refine the Steemit platform itself to its full potential.
Serious writers are drawn by the chance to make money off of our (yeah, I use the first person there for "serious writers") work without needing to go through some annoying middleman to publish it, but signing up and finding "upvote for upvote" rings and bidbots are often more lucrative than content that was well-researched is... well, discouraging.
I want to see this platform take off too and I'm excited about it but if it wants to become the nexus of serious content that it is marketed as, rather than a hive of zombies shambling around hissing "upvote 4 upvote... upvote 4 upvote... upvote 4 upvote..." there is work yet to be done.
I'm confident it can be done though.
