Indonesia is the fourth biggest population in the world with the total population 260 Millions. That number also point out how big Indonesia for every kind of transactions, including for cyrpto currency market.
Bitcoin and Steem are two kind of Cryptocurrency which are the most popular in Indonesia. Since the price of Bitcoin raised up high in May 2017, the Indonesian point ov views toward Bitcoin has changed.
Survey that released by Luno Media in June 2017 exhibit the perception map of Bitcoin in Indonesia, which are : 47.9% believe in Bitcoin as investment instrument, 30.8% still in doubt, and 21.3 % do not believe in Bitcoin. The percentage of Indonesian who believe Bitcoin as the payment tool is 44.2%, 36.2% still in doubt, and only 19.6% who do not believe.
The most interesting point is that Bitcoin is more trusted than other Cryptocurrencies. But, looking at from its deviation, there are a large number of opportunity for other Cryptocurrency. For the comparison : 57.9% believe in Bitcoin and 42.1% is the chance for other Cryptocurencies.
Besides Bitcoin, Steem enthusiats in Indonesia is getting more and more. Steem is much more attractive since combines with Steemit as a media which provides rewards for content creators and curators.
Steemit who provides reward and encourages the establishment of communities, has been responded positively by Indonesian who have natural culture to grow in community boundaries.
Furthermore, the usage of Blockchain technology is regarded as a solutions of economic problems in Indonesia. Indonesia is still "besieged" by the corruptions as the main reasons of injustice and undelivered income to the people.
I do believe, with the more massive promotions combined with the local wisdom, and to go to campus, the perceptions of Indonesian toward Bitcoin and Steem will be much better. Now Indonesia has more than 500 thousands users already.

Bitcoin and Steem Organizers should send their representative to visit Indonesia, especially to the regions that has a lot of Steemit users. Steemit users have high intelligence to promote Bitcoin, Steem, and Steemits that makes all are getting popular in Indonesia. As an addition, the reinforcement for curators should be considered, it is important to have enough number of curators who promotes and develop all of this in a smart way. @blocktrades, @stephenkendal, @papa-peper, @donkeypong, @kevinwong, @htlio, @curie, bitcoin girl @skycorridors and others who are well known and familiar for Indonesian Steemian should come and visit Indonesia. It will be a phenomenal event.
To get trust for Steem and Steemit will be much easier since Smart Media Tokens (Smart) are defined and introduced by @ned. Migration from other social media users to Steemit will be faster and sooner.[]
I do believe SteemIt is going to take a part in a big social media business soon!
