Being an active member of a community is not running around doing things to get noticed and increase your personal gain. But we as the @steemit-uenr have come together with common goals to achieve a mission and vision for this community, it's members and it's environment.

Something I learned at the first meeting of the community. It's not just about growing in numbers but growing our ability to impact our very environment which we aim to do in various ways. Thumbs up, @kwakumax, we got your back

Exactly. Personally, I've seen people give up on steemit because their posts wasn't getting enough rewards. Sometimes it takes more than writing a post, sometimes, we have to read other people's post and give constructive comments so we can gain their attention.
People see this to be work and try to avoid it. That's why I want this community to be filled with people who understand the value of long term. People who have something valuable to share with the entire community. It could be an idea or a skill set you are willing to offer. That's what and how I want this community to look like.
