Getting #Promo-Steem into the Top 10 Trending Tags by Payout
With a Market Valuation now in excess of $1.4 billion and ranked number 35 in the Cryptocurrency Market, #Steem has seen an explosive growth since its birth in March 2016, and is one that I am exceptionally proud to have been involved with.
These last 22 months have seen #Steemit and the #Steem Blockchain firmly stake its position within the Cryptocurrency Market, but we still have a lot more work to do.
#Promo-Steem - Recognised Global Marketing and Promotion Tag
Regular readers will recall that after a number of conversations I had with Matt @Starkerz and Dylan @Anarcotech back in July of last year where we talked about leveraging the success of the Marketing and Promotional Initiative in the U.K. for the Marketing and Promoting of #Steemit and the #Steem Blockchain under the tag of #Promo-UK, we rolled out #Promo-Steem.
I am now proud to say that #Promo-Steem has become the most recognised tag to capture Marketing and Promotional Initiatives Worldwide.
As we fast approach a SBD Payout of 100,000 SBD, we still have a lot more work to do promoting #Steemit and the #Steem Blockchain and I won’t give up until #Promo-Steem is in the Top 10 Trending Tags by Payout..!!
The last 7 months have just been simply awesome..!!
Since the launch of #Promo-Steem back in July, the last 7 months have been a whirlwind ride that has seen #Promo-Steem supported not only by those Bloggers sharing their promotional stories, but more importantly by those Voters voting this work and rewarding those do the promoting.
This co-ordinated effort of both Blogger and Voter has been simply mind blowing and jaw dropping to watch unfold and I cannot thank you all enough for supporting this coordinated Global effort.
Launching #Promo-Steem was the easiest bit and it has been you guys that have done the hardest bit and for this I sincerely thank you all.

With a Market Valuation now in excess of $1.4 billion, it would be great to see #Promo-Steem hit the Top 10 Trending Tags by Payout.
In order for #Promo-Steem to hit this magical target and achieve a Top 10 slot, this would put the SBD payout for #Promo-Steem at around 2,000,000 SBD.
2,000,000 SBD is a small price to pay for a successful Global Marketing and Promotional Campaign for a Platform, Blockchain, Cryptocurency and Ecosytem that is currently valued at $1.4 billion..!!

i had check out and i will try my best to promote it @stephenkendal . i have been promoting it here in my country where noone known about it or any cryptocurrency so im making all the friends and community to join steemit ☺
Seeing the endless post of users in this community making efforts and breaking boundaries for the promotion of Steemit is just so amazing, and it was made easy to recognize almost everyone who's promoting the platform with the creation of the #promo-steem tag, am proud to be part of this movement. Getting to 127 on top trends in 7months is a good news, with more effort we would achieve the top 10 goal in no time.
I personally would triple my efforts, Steemit must reach the world.

Being new here, I didn't even realize this was a thing.
I have plenty of ideas to grow, this platform but are waiting to have a little authority or voting power before I do.
(One of the shortcomings of Steemit is the onboarding process and lack of voter support newbies get when they join)
At the very least I want to make a small impact with upvoting and resteeming when my followers join the platform.
But I'll be sure to use the #promo-steem tag when I do.
You are doing an awesome job! I´m just wondering, if Steemit also does some marketing from corporate side or do they only depend on us users to spread the word? Since I´m only reading about users who give their energy, time and money into marketing campaigns and nothing from offical side...
Also I´m a bit worried about the quality of some comments recently - many people seem to not even read a post and write useless comments like "good post" or "great information" - sometimes I´m not sure, if these comments are from bots or if people are not able to formulate whole sentences anymore. So it´s not only about quantity but quality in the end....
I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the whole money part of Steemit, so much to learn.
My promotion contribution for now is spreading the world and getting new members in ;-)

Hopefully the market valuation will continue to go up! We can all definitely do a part with mass advertising and individually telling people. I imagine as the price goes up, then more people will be inclined to look into the platform as well automatically.
Nailed it..!! It is human nature to focus on those things that are growing and going up in value. The smart ones get in on the ground floor before the lift starts moving. I have said it before, there will be a lot of people that will pile into #Steem when it passes $10.00 more so than when it hovered around the $1.00..!! It's simply the way the crowd works. Stephen
