Promoting Steemit today at my school orientation & matriculation program.

Having this kind of great opportunity to reach out to many students in my school really made my day. Today was actually tagged "The Orientation and Matriculation day".

At this particular event today, we (all freshers from faculty of art) were been told all the dos and don'ts of the school, we were told today, the places we can easily visit at anytime and the places we should walk alone at night. We were also given some emergency phone lines to call whenever things are not in order in the school premises.

When I could talk Steemit.

When the program was about to end, and the students were happy because they are gonna be taken out for a tour, a tour of taking them round the whole school, to know where all notable things and buildings are in the premises.

I started with one of my course mates @toyosiartdiy, who has been active on Steemit for more than ten days now, I told him we need to bring in people to Steemit, using this event for today as an opportunity to reach out to many students.

We were able to reach out to some students who happens to show much interest and zeal for the opportunity (they were so happy when they heard it involves money), I told them a little bit about the platform and we agreed to have a class for "Steemit" tomorrow, since we have the whole week as a lecture free week.

By God's grace, tomorrow I would be bringing in much students from my school into Steemit and am sure the platform and my community @africaunchained as a whole can always welcome all the persons I will be bringing in, we already have about 20 students registered already but waiting for their accounts to be activated, it's never easy, many of them have been giving some countless message on whatsapp, busy asking questions why their account is not yet activated even after seven days.

I just had to beg them to register again using another email, telling them that people that are registering for Steemit at the moment are really much and the platform would need enough time to get them all activated.

I hope to see many of them surfing Steemit after some days, seeing them working with zeal and great act of consistency would be my joy at the end of the day. I trust God, since I would be having a class for Steemit with them tomorrow, I would you guys to begin to prepare your greetings for some great Steemians that are about to be born!

With no doubt, am sure the @africaunchained community, my boss @destinysaid and the whole of Steemit itself would help in making the new steemians stay a great one!
