The trend of framed smartphones aka bezel-less with 18: 9 display ratio also changed the way navigation interface. No more physical buttons, even the virtual keys began to be abandoned, gestur control was so an alternative.
There are currently many devices that utilize gesture controls for navigation. This method was first introduced by Apple through the line of iPhone X, then the longer the more mushroomed.
Xiaomi has implemented the gesture control on the line of Redmi 5 Plus and Mi Mix 2. The latest, Xiaomi also memboyongnya for Redmi Note 5 Pro.
This is thanks to MIUI 9.5 software update which is still in beta form. For a while only a few people who follow the beta program that can menjajalnya.
The software is not yet stable and still needs much improvement. However, support for gesture-based navigation systems seems to be mature enough, as compiled KompasTekno, Monday (12/3/2018), from Gizmochina.
There are three basic gestures provided in MIUI 9.5 update. First, the user can sweep the screen from the bottom of the screen to the top of the screen (swipe up) to access "Home" from another app or menu.
Users can also swipe up to the middle of the screen to open a list of applications that are currently open (recent apps). Finally, the user can sweep from the left or right side of the middle screen (swipe left / swipe right) if you want to back alias "Back".
Not yet clear what other gestures may be made possible by MIUI 9.5 update. It is also unknown whether this update is specific to Redmi Note 5 Pro, or will be widespread throughout Xiaomi devices.
Let's see what the gesture-based navigation system is when MIUI 9.5 is officially launched.
