Well, there are only about 30 whales (few of whom manually curate) and tens of thousands of accounts competing for their attention.
Meh, the Hive rewards pool is now only a tiny part of the Hive ecosystem. There’s so much more going on here, so many other opportunities.

I hope that I may also be able to explore those.
Those who are struggling to get attention should remember that it is also about brand and name recognition.
No matter how some try to make this a competition for good posts or quality posts, that's really not how social networks work.
I've noticed you, because you comment and are active. It's not like one can read every post and then painstakingly compare the posts to each other. I think somehow the Quality content group projects that.
If I had one piece of advice for people struggling for visibility it would be to engage and comment as much as possible and don't look for whales, look for active users, the other people who are commenting.

Yes engagement is the most important thing in hive. I did learn the hard way. 😅
I try to engage as much as I can :)
Trust me, it´s much better now than how things were on Steem. I mean the % of really good posts that somehow end up not getting the rewards they deserve is much much smaller than it used to be back in the old days of Steem. We have many great curation groups that manually browse the newly created posts every day, we have many solo curators who also try to support good quality content, especially by small accounts and newbies. This is also why I came up with my Saturday upvote giveaway series. I still need to check out the nominations from this round btw, I know there is yours too ;) Sorry for not replying yet, I have been very busy lately...
Hive is far better than Steem no doubt :)
But yes consistency is the key I will try to be as consistent as I can :)
Not so worried, in fact I am glad the price is low now. I am scared everytime it pumps because I worry I am not going to be able to afford them later , lol.
While quality content matters so is active engagement.
Agree :)
Another thing could be to get some Ecency points and use them as promotion of your post :)
Or promote your post through Peakd aswell to get more eye balla on your posts :D
On Peakd with Peakd points or with Hive?
With Hive :D
I see :)
