I can tell, from the way you address me, that you think that my humble account is recently acquired. I have over 1,100 posts on this site and migrated with the Steem fork. My posts are extremely detailed, deeply researched & have caused me to be de-platformed from Twitter, Facebook and on New Year's Eve from Discord, which I also trusted stupidly.
Judging by the political reasons & clashes of opinion behind recent "nukings", as you call them, I am no longer confident that the whales in this pond are friendly.
In fact, I get the impression that they are more savage than 77th Brigade & the UK Metropolitan Police put together pissed at a Milwall football match.
Maybe they would be better known as sharks?
The power to "nuke" accounts is THEFT.
It steals our earnings, our accounts, our confidence and our respect.
It creates another insipid location to post photos of cats & dinners.
"this isn't the place for just anybody.
Games have rules, or there is no game." you say....
It is NOT A GAME, love..... it was my favourite corner of the internet, where I was assured my work would be safely stored.
Now I am cast adrift, desperately trying to copy everything I have written before some nasty hammer of hell swipes it into the aether forever.
Yes, coming up on five years, it appears.
Had it been your account getting nuked, I'd think your fears reasonable.
As it is, nobody has been bothered by your content up to this point, I'd think that likely to continue.
Frot was not exactly expecting to be nuked, but he was.
Shan Henry was introduced to Hive by me last year and he has been down-voted sufficiently to trash all his earnings on one very popular post.
You really think I can rely on the sharks remaining blind to my content?
I don't. The stench of corruption is choking, mate.
Shan Henry doesn't appear to be getting flagged, lately.
Just sunsetjesus and that is an annoyance not a nuke.
But, hey, I'm not here to convince you one way or the other.
You gotta do what you gotta do.
Look at this:

Yes, I follow the flagging pretty closely since I got raided at 5am by hivewatchers almost a year ago.
I had followed along loosely up to then, but not like I have since.
Kenny has been very supportive of me, I likely wouldn't have stuck as long as I have absent his support.
Most of my rewards are from tsu votes.
However, he let his emotions get the best of him when he got pinged.
He had been on the way out for some months before for reasons he stated.
When you steemicide and then don't leave, it looks bad and excites the flaggots.
What would you like the stakeholders to do when he turned on them?
He clearly stated that he was leaving, powering down, and turning into a bad reference for the hive.
I hope he changes his mind, buys back in, and becomes an even larger force for good here, but that isn't his stated intentions.
You can't blame 'them' for plugging this hole in their levee when it has promised to get worse.
