It doesn't seem it will get squared away any time soon, the hive powers that be seen content with rampant downvote abuse and countless viable options which have been suggested have been ignored.

I'm checking out the other platforms, @lucylin is keen on Blurt, but I still have hopes there can be a downvote free zone set up on the Hive blockchain, I'm finding Proof Of Brain much better, and am impressed with a lot of the developments on Bastyon (formerly Pocketnet).

But I think Hive is now reverting back to Steemit, and I've already done all that shit with some turd called Bernie Sanders (and his army of downvote accounts) downvoting all my posts. These days I have a new account name on Hive, but I suspect old "BS" does too!
A key thing is that if I'm going to earn dust or nothing at all, I want to have fun - and truth is I have the most fun on Gab because nobody gives a flying fuck what anyone thinks.

I suspect that Hive is controlled by an entire office of contract employees working for an angry government agency, and the rouge whales are just a tool to control the content and the reward pool...
