Well friends, I finally got everything ready for my first single from my album(which is currently untitled). It is my stab back into the world of music and music recording. The song, called Blue to Grey, was written years ago at a time in my life that I suppose I felt very little. Very, very grey. All of the things that I had built up and slapped the "me" label on, seemed to me all at once to be meaningless. Looking back it all fit in with the ten year change cycle. I guess I just needed to be away from some of the things that I loved to truly realize I did. I didn't see best friends for more than a decade and I just barely kept playing music. This song came from that time and didn't really find a place until this year. This recording was done on the very first day I was back together with my former band mates from Floob. We hadn't seen each other in more than 10 years... Somehow it felt easy, like being home. We met @junkfeathers house and he didn't waste any time. The second I started talking about playing music, he put a mic in my face. I won't lie, I felt nervous. Even if I was only standing in my friends home studio, I was still out of my depth at that moment. I just went with it. That little shove did indeed get the ball rolling. I'm now mid way through an album! I realize just how much I needed this music in my life. There is some place for everything in my head to go. Please enjoy Blue to Grey.
