There's a lot of ways POB can generate more money. There aren't many ways POB can generate money well. At this time, the community generates money through curation. It happens in a manner similar to the way Hive.blog functions.
Proof of Brain grows outside of this original concept of revenue-by-curation by adapting a use-case. @Proofofbrainio has set our path with the outpost 2.0. It provides the community a direct use case with NFTs.
As a community, however, I cite someone's recent recommendation to keep things simple. We have a lot to focus upon as a community. We can't grow well without stability. I think we have a ways to go to get there.
You are absolutely correct. Stability is the main Concern here. Whether it is about engagement, market price or a use case of POB. POB is POB, we can't compare it to Leofinance or any other Hive Tribe. Moreover we can't even compare it with Social networks like Facebook or Twitter. With time we may explore other avenues and options available. Keeping POB simple and welcoming everyone on the Community is quite desirable.
We don't have the resources of Leo Finance at this time: regular updates, aggressive and sensible expansion, or dedicated programmers.
And for pob to be stabilized, it will need more funds for maintenance and stability.
This is why I suggested the topic for this community growth that do people have any other means to suggest so that proofofbrain would take action because I will like proofofbrain community to start competing with leofinance

@proofofbrainio hasn't made an update to to the community about his post of 2.0 and nft new frontend and I hope he is working on it.
What can stabilize pob community is not money, but proofofbrainio presence and consistency.
His consistency here and his presence will make investors trust in this community and many people are the great advantage that can help pob.
Some are good in coding and building of website hard can help pob in it's frontend, some are a crypto specialist and that many people following them and their social media and have the ability to invite people. and many other people who can be of great help to the community but they can't help this community without them trusting the community and what you can make them trust this community is if they can see the community has a potential
Faith is a very important aspect in a project and that is the use of road map. To increase the faith of everyone that want to be part of the project.

Yes you are on the right track.. exactly my thoughts, there are even many other ways except for the curation rewards in which proofofbrain has been generating money from since this while. And as of the manners similar to that if Hive.. I really just learned about that from this comment..
