As long as Americans don't forget their ideals, they should be all right.
What it bothers me, are all those student becoming marxists and daoing vandalism from time to time, they don't seem to really understand why America was founded, there is a famous quote from Benjamin Franklin that says "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety".
If the people don't forget those noble ideals, the country will be all right. If the people forget about this, then the manipulation will probably end very ugly.
