This is brilliant. However, watch Ex Machina. The fact is that NO ONE is in control. Not even the elites. Control and freedom are all part of the Illusion of Creation.
For something to be real it has to exist. What has a beginning and end is only temporary. And whether that is a millisecond or a billion years makes no difference. Please do not misunderstand me. If someone you love dies. If you get paralysed from the waist down. Any experience is real but only so long as it exists. And then it is gone - for ever. As are you and I.
Even Spinoza sussed out that behind all the change and movement there is something that does not change. A mind cannot "know" that which does not change as mind, thoughts, feelings, in fact all experiences begin and end. Paper can exist quite happily without being written on. But writing needs a support, a surface. Creation is the writing.
"Know what's knowing. Not what's known." Of course a contradiction of what was written earlier. Yet "the whole truth and nothing but the truth" cannot be expressed as it is formless and beyond all limits.
As Caitlin implies, asking questions can be challenging, frightening, even mentally disturbing as in doing so we undermine our "sense of identity". Yet only by doing so can we realise our fundamental ignorance of who or what we are.
"The purpose of your life is to realise the cause of your existence."
