Excellent post @v4vapid. We must, one and all, resist the lulling associated with apathy. That's too easy in the big scheme of things; more important is awareness.
People spend far too much time talking into the vapors about 'why' things are happening; and, far too little spent powering up in prayers and actions toward a positive reversal/pushback on things bringing the nation in a negative spin.
As long as people are entertained with whatever's scrolling on their palm gadget, the more dumbed down they become. That's a propaganda tool which keeps people from seeking the more important things that matter, in exchange for frivolous distractions, i.e. silly selfies, et al.
