Welcome to another edition of the Edit of the Week!
This is the weekly contest where we pick the sweetest wiki edit and award 25 HBD to the editor who contributed their valuable time to help with the propolis.wiki vision. Here are the details in case you would like to become an editor to help with content and compete for the prize.
"Edit Of The Week" contest
A wiki without articles is just an empty website. The team is still small, and writing a good wiki article with a good structure and references is not effortless. To speed up the growth of the wiki and incentivize more authors to join in, we decided to hold a regular "Edit Of The Week" contest with a prize of 25 HBD.
Each weekend we'll present you with the best new articles or article edits of the last 7 days, and have a vote on the winner (exact details still need to be fleshed out). In addition to that, starting in June we will declare an editor of the month at the end of each month, who will receive 50 HBD.
Don't let this opportunity pass - request your editor authorization now. While you can do that with a comment, it would be much better to join our Discord where we can help you set up keychain, coordinate articles and can give some good advice on form and contents.
The team is continuing to grow as we add engaged Hive enthusiasts who, little by little, are adding content and edits to the wiki.

As a reminder, criteria included the detail on the subject, completeness, favoring well-structured and well-referenced articles that don't require a lot of editing by others.
"Editing a page shouldn't be rewarded. Editing a page that no one else has edited subsequently or only you have edited subsequently, meaning the content is stable, should probably be rewarded because what you want is a stable repository of information that is only updated when there's something new to say."

Feel free to continue writing, we need more content online. It would be great if you could adhere a tad more to the guidlines I DMd you on Discord ;) It would save time of the proofreaders and editors.
Ok! As I answered on Discord I prefer to use Hive posts as reference but from now I will take care with their neutrality, comments and fact checks to have more academic and wikipedia-style articles. Thank you very much!

I just logged in on Wiki Propolis but I don’t know how to begin.
Do we just post random content there?
Is there a post that aptly explains what Wiki Propolis is?
I remember I was tagged to one of the Wiki Propolis post here and one of my post also mentioned. I’d be glad to know what this truly means and would also love to contribute to it.
You can either improve/amend existing articles, or create new ones. A good start would be looking for red links on the site, these are pages that don't exist yet.
You can get some info on the welcome page, the how to edit and the editing guidelines.
